Macomb Agriscience Association Creates an Endowed Fund

The McDonough County Community Foundation (MCCF) announced a donation from the Macomb Agriscience Association (MAA) to support the Macomb agriculture program with the “Macomb Agriscience Association Fund” at the Macomb Middle School, in Macomb Il. The MAA was created to support the Agriculture program in Macomb schools. The Ag Program has grown to include three Ag teachers and programs in the High School and Middle School. The donation of $20,000 will provide yearly proceeds to support the Macomb agriculture and FFA programs.

MCCF chair, Scott Coker, said “We on the MCCF board are thankful to the Macomb Agriscience Association for this donation to create an endowed fund.” “This step will allow the local community to continue to support the Macomb Ag Dept./FFA Chapter for many years to come”, Bruce Eidson, MAA Chairman.
