Taste in Canton: A Culinary Celebration with Local Flavors and Family Fun

Get ready to tantalize your taste buds at the much-anticipated Taste in Canton event on Sunday, September 29th, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM in downtown Canton. This annual culinary festival showcases the best local eateries, bakeries, and food trucks, offering a delicious array of dishes, desserts, and drinks

Participants can sample fare from local favorites like Bistro 101, Don & Nancy's Cafe, and Princess Creations, known for their innovative dishes, comfort food, and decadent desserts. Food trucks like J&S Catering, Up In Smoke BBQ, and Monari's Chili Dogs & More will also serve unique street food delights.

As you enjoy the food, your kids can burn off energy in the inflatable bounce houses, and Monster Lane will provide live music to enhance the festive atmosphere.

A highlight of the event is the Pie-Eating Contest, which features three age categories: kindergarten to 6th grade at 2:00 PM, 7th to 12th grade at 2:15 PM, and 18 and older at 2:30 PM. Sign-up is available on the day of the event, and there are eight participants per age group.

All food and drink purchases are made using tokens, available at welcome booths in pre-bagged amounts of $15 to $25. Hosted by the Canton Area Chamber of Commerce, this community event relies on around 60 volunteers to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.
