A Floral Affair: Centennial Events Center Hosts Inaugural Spring Market

By: Forgottonia Times™ Report

Spring will arrive in full bloom at the Centennial Events and Wedding Venue on April 26 as the center hosts its inaugural Spring Market, a one-day festival featuring local artisans, food vendors, and the official launch of its beautiful U-Pick Flower Fields.

Located at 1119 Blaze Rd., the Centennial Events Center is inviting visitors to experience the season’s renewal firsthand by strolling through fields of tulips and daffodils, gathering fresh flowers, and enjoying a warm spring day!

The launch of the U-Pick Flower Fields is designed to bring the community together in a scenic countryside setting. Tulips and daffodils will be available for picking, with plans to expand offerings throughout the summer and fall to include zinnias, daisies, and sunflowers. Organizers advise attendees to check social media for updates on flower availability, as bloom timing will depend on weather conditions.

The Spring Market will showcase a diverse lineup of artisans, crafters, and specialty vendors. Guests can browse handcrafted apparel, home decor, jewelry, and specialty products from businesses such as Memphis Creations, Flour & Fibers LLC, and Gramma Llama Designs.

A standout attraction will be Showbarn Creations’ Hat Bar, where attendees can customize and decorate their own wide-brim, straw, or trucker hats. Other featured vendors include Pure Beeswax Candles by Earth Elements, alongside many more businesses offering unique and handmade goods.

The event will include a variety of family-friendly activities. Monmouth Bouncy House will provide entertainment with a 30-foot inflatable obstacle course, and Expressions Body Art and Design will offer face painting, glitter tattoos, henna tattoos, and hair tinsel. Additionally, The Unique Twist & Twisting Crew will entertain guests with balloon artistry.

Admission to the Spring Market is free, and the first 20 families to arrive will receive a complimentary swag bag. Attendees will also have the opportunity to win curated drawing baskets. While vendors accept various payment methods, bringing cash is recommended for convenience.

As the season changes, the Spring Market at Centennial Events Center offers a chance to embrace the outdoors, support local businesses, and enjoy a day of shopping, entertainment, and fresh flowers.
