Easter in the Park Returns to Roseville with Egg Hunt and Easter Film
By: Forgottonia Times™ Report
Families across Roseville and the surrounding area are invited to Eldridge Park on Saturday, April 5, for a festive evening of community, celebration, and tradition as the Living Light Church hosts its second annual Easter in the Park.
The event begins at 6:30 p.m. with a lively Easter egg hunt with 2,500 eggs filled with all sorts of goodies scattered throughout the park — a joyful challenge for children eager to discover springtime treasures. Among the eggs, a few special surprises may delight lucky participants.
Following the hunt, attendees are welcome to enjoy complimentary hot dogs, chips, and drinks, fostering a warm atmosphere of fellowship among neighbors and friends. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets for a comfortable evening under the open sky.
As the sun sets, the night concludes with a free outdoor screening of “The Thorn,” a cinematic portrayal of the Easter story chosen to reflect the deeper meaning of the holiday. Organizers hope the film will inspire reflection and connection within the community.
Admission is free and open to all. In the case of rain, the celebration will be rescheduled for Friday, April 18. As Roseville embraces its growing tradition, organizers hope this year’s gathering will continue to build community spirit and lasting memories for families of all ages.
