As the crisp air of autumn settles in, what better way to welcome the season than by joining the community for the 3rd Annual Fall Family Fun Day? Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 21, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and head to 1119 Blaze Rd. in Knoxville for a day filled with seasonal delights and activities for all ages.
The Fall Family Fun Day promises to be a celebration of everything that makes autumn special. From the moment you arrive, you'll be greeted by the aroma of freshly made apple cider donuts, a seasonal favorite that pairs perfectly with a cup of warm cider or a refreshing cider slushie. The delicious offerings continue with hearty food and homemade pies from Janet's Kitchen, along with a variety of flavored popcorns courtesy of Pop Culture.
The event is packed with activities to keep everyone entertained. Little ones will be thrilled with horse and pony rides, courtesy of Haggerty Horse Services, while the giant bounce houses, provided by Monmouth Bouncy House Rentals LLC, will offer hours of bouncing fun. For creative minds, the Kid's DIY Corner, hosted by local artist Susie Richardson, is the perfect spot to craft autumn-themed masterpieces.
Nature lovers of all ages are invited to take a leisurely stroll on the nature walk, designed for participants "from 1 to 99." Traditional fall festival games and face painting will keep the fun going throughout the day. New this year, Expressions Body Art & Design will add an extra layer of excitement with face painting, glitter tattoos, hair tinsel, and henna body art.
The Pop-Up Shop and Craft Market will be another highlight of the day, showcasing an array of local artisans and vendors.
