Emma Rauschert is a Forgottonia native from Smithfield, IL. She was homeschooled growing up, and spent most of her early years roaming the woods outside where she developed a deep appreciation and respect for nature. As an adult, she loves all things conservation. Emma currently resides outside of Avon, IL with her husband Matthew. She is a beekeeper, volunteer first responder, University of Illinois Extension Master Gardener intern, University of Illinois extension Master Naturalist intern, and an avid reader. Emma loves animals, hiking, camping, cooking from scratch, pressing flowers, landscaping, volunteering, traveling, and, of course, gardening.
